On Sandy Bland

by MullOverThis

Sandy Bland was murdered.

Howw do we know? Because her family said she would have never killed herself.

SM justice kicks in, and of course, bandwagon situationalists were already on the mountain rolling downhill, so they stopped right at this here blatant murder, which leaves me with a few questions:

1. Had Ms. Bland’s prior attempt to kill herself-last year-worked, who would they have to blame? Who would be the murderers?

2. What “work” has been accomplished since she attempted to kill herself over the loss of a baby in 2014 such that it is impossible for Ms. Bland to not have done it to herself, this time?

3. There have been several statements made by people who did not know Ms. Bland, but don’t miss any bandwagon events. There is a claim that she was not depressed. Who, exactly, is the woman in the YouTube video posted 4 months ago that spoke of her depression and battle with PTSD? Did the “set up” people pick a look-alike, tape it, post it online months ago, and then follow her until the day of her arrest and stage the entire confrontation to get her into police custody so they can murder this activist and use the excuse of depression and suicide to cover up and assassination?

4. Since when do other people declare what people are not, when the people in question have spoken themselves about what they are battling, mentally?

5. How successful would suicidal people be, if they were fully forthright with suicidal tendencies? How many people who survive the suicides of loved ones already knew their loved ones were capable of suicide? Is it possible at all that a woman who was in jail for 3 days with only a $500 bond who placed calls to numerous persons and not one of them posted bond immediately, who had been unemployed, just got a great position, also got a “fresh” assault charge to fight which certainly poses a problem for starting a new job, and just tried to do what her family thinks was beyond her a year earlier could possible have committed suicide?

We may NEVER know what really happened to Ms. Sandra Bland. I am not willing to dismiss significant recent mental history and her dialog with others who were in jail (witnesses) to believe that Ms. Bland was murdered.

There are several memes and of course, hashtags branding #ifidieinpolicecustodyididntkillmyself.  I just want to know for those who are on this bandwagon, how many suicide attempts have you had in the recent past?

Amber Roof Solicits Funds: Another GoFundMe Bungle

by MullOverThis

Yup. You have read correctly.  Michael and Amber had their dreams halted, smashed, crumbled, and upset by the public shame and bombastic inconvenience her brother caused her when he decided to execute 9 human beings on the basis of race. While the nation is mourning from a hate crime which impacted the entire Charleston, South Carolina area and people who have been terribly reminded that racist venom is still vicious enough to cause a 21 year old deluded man to end the lives of innocent people, let’s not forget the other ills and consequential damages:  this lunatic’s sister is also suffering with the loss of everything she hoped and dreamed for in planning her nuptials.

See, I can understand her pain.

Truly, I can. Who can’t empathize with her having to see her brother arrested and have to face the inevitable justice system which is going to put him away for the majority of his adult life? Who can’t empathize with the horror the entire Roof family probably felt in knowing that they are connected to such a depraved human being–a loved one? But, with all of the grace we must have, we also should help fund this tootsy pop’s wedding and relate to her devastation.

Only in America, can someone have such boldness and insensitivity to even think it’s a good idea to go raise wedding money when your brother has literally terrorized a nation with a hate crime of this magnitude. Of all of the things that have transpired–massive peaceful protests, government entities addressing the Confederate flag and the ills of the wicked influences that infiltrated this brother of this nincompoop, ordering grave stones, coffins, writing obituaries, re-structuring family life from day-to-day, mourning the loss of loved ones, re-building the faith in a community and leadership in a long-standing congregation–let’s not forget this clown’s interests cut from the most pungent narcissistic depraved indifference to human life pie ever made: poopy deserves her wedding.

There really is nothing more to say to this one, other than I wonder what the rest of this Roof family has to face in the aftermath of what Dylan Roof has done. Let’s hope missing the annual berry picking contest or losing Dylan’s worth as the one who takes out the kitchen garbage isn’t on their list.

So, GoFundMe has had to knock off another unethical campaign grounded in absolute lunacy.

Wait A Few Cotton Picking Minutes

(AP Photo/Nicholas K. Geranios, File)

Cotton picking minutes are still minutes.

It’s just that these kind of minutes are hard and longer minutes to those who pick cotton, or understand the intensity of working in bondage and heat as captives.

Rachel Dolezal is under fire for identifying herself as part Black. She has assumed the identity of a Black woman and all of a sudden, this is a problem.

Now, when mixed-race people identify themselves as part Asian, or Tiger-Woodish, they are self-hating Black folk. Tiger Woods is NOT Asian! Not when he looks at the Asian momma who raised him, as Asian as she is and as Asian as her womb was when she pushed him out. He’s Black because he has dark skin and his daddy is a Black man. His racial identity has to be Black, regardless of his reality and environment.

The Mariah Carey’s and Halle’s of this world “better” not think they are White or Caucasion by the historic iota of a drop of Negro blood legal roots and its corresponding imprint in cultural norms to define a person’s race. Some social constructs have chains with locks that work to bind and to free depending upon the agenda. Don’t deny your heritage, and don’t identify with another when folks died for you to be who you are based upon your identity.  Whites and Blacks both seem to take issue with people who are “visibly” Black and want to think of themselves as anything other than Black. Self-hatred and Sell Out mentalities are the next in line notions, aren’t they?

What exactly is the problem here? This woman’s parents identify themselves as Caucasions. It logically follows that all of their natural born children ARE White and should identify themselves as such. Of course it does. And it historically, educationally and culturally follows that Africa is the “mother” of civilization. These same Black folks who have a twisted chip flavored with a mesquite bitter root Black bark on one shoulder conveniently forget the other shoulder’s claim–with strength I might add–that Black people are the ones who White people come from anyway. Illogical, contradicting weights on shoulders has to make a person tired. Real tired. And, dizzy. Black definers just may want to sit down and catch thy heads and thoughts, and bring them to an equilibrium so we can at least know who is truly qualified to be culturally, ethnically, socially or racially Black in America.

racheldolezal

A professor who has studied and now teaches Black studies should espouse her motherland heritage. At what point in her lineage does she get to chop off her motherland roots head and Blackness from her forefathers and foremothers? Do the same intelligencia, comics and commentators who call Negroid, Black, Colored, or African American people sell outs because they don’t speak with an urban vernacular, they aren’t Black, even though they are very Black, get the privilege to set the point? No, Rachel can set it for herself. She is qualified.

Oreos aren’t Black.

Sell outs aren’t Black.

People who don’t agree that Mike Brown could not have been shot in the chest while running away from cops or keep his hands up with multiple gunshot wounds, aren’t Black.

People who don’t want to use #Blacklivesmatter hashtags ONLY when crimes against Blacks committed by Whites take place, but notice Black lives in black body bags when Black folks kill or maim each other aren’t Black.

When Black people aren’t Black, and White people aren’t Black unless it’s time to argue that Jesus is Black and civilization began with Negroids producing all spectrums of skin-colored human beings, it seems to MullOverThis that its high time for Rachel to be Black.

She has been passing or legitimately Black for years. Her record for passing isn’t nearly record-breaking; she would have had to have been like her Black sisters who passed for Whites for years because they wanted the privilege of being free and enjoying “White privilege” and sheer freedom when their darker-skinned blood didn’t have this shade-bred option.

Since most Black people think the NAACP is about Negroidism as opposed to working to advance the equal rights of all people in America with commitments to work for those who cannot represent themselves and have been historically underrepresented and oppressed, the front man and now “woman” is supposed to be Black. Well, she is Black by many standards of what constitutes “Blackness” when ignorance is bliss and an operating welcome mat from the most educated and prolific to gin and juice drinking Black people in America is placed at the Black front door.

Anybody who’s down with the cause is usually Black, right? If it isn’t, when did that change?

Her regional NAACP presidency is not reserved for Black people. It’s reserved for qualified people: the same kind of qualified people who began the NAACP who were not Black and were Caucasion. The board of the NAACP looked like the Civil Rights movement constituency: Black, White and people who were committed to equitable human rights in America for all people.

So, Mrs. Rachel, welcome to the table you’ve been setting with advocacy and education while critics have been upgrading remote functions to yell at flat screen televisions and pick their nostrils. People who are about that life don’t really care how you identify yourself or if your mama stepped out with Mr. Bill, or not.

The Puerto Ricans who have never been to Puerto Rico and identify themselves with their culture won’t ever undergo such scrutiny; Neither would any legitimate Black person who had White enough skin to pass and was raised among a bunch of White children and naturally saw herself as the same.

Rachel, if your racial classification is a lie on the basis of social constructs, the acknowledgement of the evolution of the human race to produce these constructs is a lie. I’m quite confident that you don’t convince yourself that you are one of “them” when you look at your husband, children or siblings who look just like you.

You are Black enough for me and many other women who were born to a White parent and had to dilute Whiteness–as if that is the pure standard–and be deemed Black or other. Whatever you consider yourself to be, be that and work for the equality of all people.

If Ann Coulter gets a weave with red and pink strands, we will have to re-write civilization.

NYPD BIASED IN HATE CRIME INVESTIGATION

by MullOverThis

Get ready for this one, folks.

There has been a news story in New York for the past few days regarding 4 NYC stores that were defaced with Anti-Semitic symbols and language.  The NYPD, one of the so-called most advanced police departments in the world-with its own intelligence-that NYPD, has released footage of four persons of interest.

NY1 and the Daily News have blatantly associated the four suspects in the released footage as racists and the culprits.  This characterization is consistent with the toilet paper gutter news organizations that they have both become known to be.  What these idiots have not considered is that those four individuals in footage may not have had anything to do with the crime.

I have no criminal justice education or experience.  Yet, eating enough Wheaties has fueled this brain enough to know when things do not add up, or make sense.

One of the four persons in the footage went to her local police department last evening along with her representation.  She stated that the local detectives told her there was nothing they could do to assist her, because higher ups were on this case.  K.  Your face and image is plastered all over the news for being associated with this hate crime, and the local NYPD can’t do a thing to protect you, when their release of the footage has put you in harm’s way for any nutjob who wants to go overboard because of the inflammatory media coverage.

The young lady stated she waited for the Manhattan detectives to arrive and they presented her with additional footage, which was not yet released in the media. ASIDE:  How come this information I am relaying to you isn’t all over the internet through news media outlets, and they are supposed to be following this situation?  Might it be because journalism has become so degenerative that what makes print and press is what Bloomberg and a few lazy detectives have to say?

Back to the point.   The young lady stated that she adamantly told the detectives that what they saw on the additional footage was not anyone defacing the store window.  The young man was simply pointing to an item.  She also stated that the detectives wanted to know WHY the four of them met in the store, WHY one of them went onto the lower level and looked at something in a corner, and a bunch of stupid questions to ask about people who were mere patrons.  Do people stop at racks and pick up an item and look at it?  Is it suspicious behavior to meet a group of friends to hang out in the NYC for the day?  Is it suspicious activity to point at a store window?  How about smudge your face on the window?  How about touch the store door handles?

Idiocy supreme.

Might people who commandeer huge salaries do the following:

Look at the footage of the three other stores that were part of the hate crime “spree”. You might find the same person or persons on the footage in or in front of the stores.  That’s a better correlation of suspect behavior that targeting four people who met up at one store, with no other compelling footage.

Don’t assume all the persons of interest are Asian.  Idiocy-or bias-galore. At least two of those persons on the footage are Black.

It’s an alarming day in America when you meet up with some friends to go to Bryant Park at a local store and have to hire an attorney and be plastered all over the television and internet as racists, when all you did was get your image captured on video footage in conjunction with your friends because you patronized a store that has now become a crime location.  It is more horrific when family and friends alert you all day long that you were on a crime spree, according to the news, in three other stores you never patronized.

Shop alone so dingbat copism doesn’t put you at risk because you were in a group of people who were within the jurisdiction of a racist NYPD.  The Mayor and police might emphasize that these people are persons of interest who may have information about this crime in their public commentary; this would be too unbiased in investigating a biased crime where the NYPD has released images of Black folk as racists,  now wouldn’t it?

Overnight, people whose worst judgment led them to hang out in a Japanese store can lose their jobs, have to defend themselves and be associated as racists in the public eye because the NYPD and the low-grade journalists have done it once again: towed the lines of ethics and decency and just may mess up innocent people’s lives.

MullOverThis

Update:  An anti-Semitic bandit strikes in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn.  Does this mean that the NYPD will broaden their scope of people of interest?  Let’s hope they find the real culprit/s.  And, then they might want to really start having this much gumption and dedication when Anti-Black folks hang nooses.

The Help

by MullOverThis

I attended a pre-screening of DreamWorks Pictures August 10th film release  “The Help”.  This movie was hilarious!

Some notable thoughts:

1.  One of the film co-stars, Octavia Spencer, plays the character “Minny” and her performance reminds me of the “Dream Girls” Jennifer Hudson/Beyonce acting upstage.  Minny makes this movie all by herself, if that were possible.  Although Octavia isn’t the top billed actress, she does an outstanding job of bringing a Black woman’s “tude” to light.

2.  The Help’s  subject matter is the kind of stuff that could make Black folks mad once again.  However the writing, storyline and acting does a great job of making what could otherwise be weighty,  lighthearted, and does so without sacrificing the import of what Black women endured while working in a racist rural South.

3.  The Help is a bit long but doesn’t have one dull moment.  This is a clean movie that the entire family should see and prepare to have engaging conversation about racism, sexism and our nation’s history.

4.  Amidst the context of southern gentility riddled with racism and sexism, the feminine frailties prove strong enough to muddle through life as is, with alliances, allegiances and synergy where the story of The Help is ultimately told.  Cat fights are kitten fights in this film where all symbolic fingernails are in tact by the final scene and curtsey.

I hope The Help does well at the box office.  For more information, here’s the website:  www.thehelpmovie.com.

What the?

by MullOverThis

The head of the New Century Foundation and racial realist Jared Taylor is peeved that the Charlotte, North Carolina hotel has reneged and  pulled the rug from under their conference because of safety concerns.

This is a bunch of bull.

Safety concerns?  Who is going to do anything violent to a bunch of white supremacists who have dumb-downed their jargon to be a bit more tasteful and politically correct in 2011?  Uh, people with their ideologies are the ones with the history of unparalleled efforts to subjugate other people and wreak violence throughout the ages.  The Black Panthers haven’t struck in a long time and those that aren’t grinding the midnight oil at a corporate cubicle probably can’t even rev up their motorbikes to get to Charlotte.

So, I say, let these ridiculoids meet wherever they want to, so long as they:

1.  Pay the bill.  Addendum:  They don’t deserve discounts.  As premiere nationalists who know what is best for America, they should want to help this deficit as much as is humanely possible.

2.  Keep the sheets on their beds, not on their faces.

3.  Use a boat-load of hand sanitizers.  Remember, Charlotte is replete with a bunch of non-thems and no one else should be infested with their germs when they are finished strategizing on how to maintain the purity of their “themness”.

Higher Education: The Choice for the African American Collegiate

by MullOverThis

A couple of weekends ago, I attended a birthday bash for a real-life Wonderwoman friend of mine.  Really.  Homegirl is a consummate professional, linked in, linked up, linked out and the entire nine yards plus some.  The power broker is a member of a reputable sorority, so the set was flanked with her sorors:  a number of fine engaging women.

Well, of course, after the introductions were kaput, small talk ensued.  The topic that became the mainstay was what type of college experience we wanted our own children to have as African-Americans in America.  More specifically, does the African-American fare better at the HBCU or a reputable well-ranked large university?  After about one hour of dialogue concerning the same, much of which was jarring to some hearers who were offended that Black people can be well-informed and still make sound choices to go to “white” schools, we all agreed that it would be best for our own children to make their own decisions, if our children can withstand our legacy dominance and influence.

The Man and the Arrest of Henry Louis Gates

by MullOverThis

Again, “The Man” is at play and causing a ruckus with the arrest and four-hour detainment of Yale Graduate and Harvard Professor, Henry Louis Gates. By now, you would think that Black folks and “conscious” folks of other races would abandon the notion of “The Man”, who gets too much credit in situations where common sense is overridden and self-responsibility is despised. It is much easier to cry racism and point to a plethora of social behavioral theories than to accept the bare-boned truth. Sometimes Black people do stupid stuff and racial bias has absolutely nothing to do with the situation.

First, a call is made to the police because Mr. Gates allegedly appeared to be breaking into his home. Apparently, the door was jammed. Questions flare about why the police was even called. Of course anyone in a residential neighborhood who witnesses someone trying to force a door ajar should call the police. People break into homes in broad daylight. Doctors murder their own wives in broad daylight. Mr. Henry Louis Gates lives in the real world where men just like him-not just stereotypical younger Black male thugs-commit heinous crimes. Accomplished, affluent, successful people often find themselves in prison garb for quite some time because they have committed crimes.

Mr. Gates was allegedly into his home by the time the police confrontation began. Allegedly, the cops knew exactly who he was when they arrested him. There is a huge gap-between when Mr. Gates supplied proof of identity and was arrested-that Mulloverthis is not willing to suppose is filled with improper behavior by law enforcement simply because Mr. Gates is a Black man. Mr. Gates was allegedly “shocked” that after he proved who he was, the incident continued.

Having had to prove TWICE that I lived in my own house because the burglar alarm went off in the middle of the night, I disengaged it, and answered the calls from the alarm company with the appropriate code, I know how aggravating it is to look at law enforcement (two white officers) who challenged me because of what could have actually been “suspect”. However, having an appreciation for law enforcement-the same fellas that might have been answering the same call if I actually had a gun pointed to my head by an intruder-governed my disposition in getting my license, a piece of mail with my name and address on it, and answering numerous questions. There was no unseemly conduct or display of irritation to the point where after having established my identity, I could have been arrested for disorderly conduct. By the way, being one who is more than averse on my legal rights and most knowingly and audibly equipped to express them, I could have stopped the officers much sooner than they chose to stop in both encounters inside the home where I LIVE. However, I did not. I worked with the program. Mulloverthis smiled and thanked the officers both times, although I could have been indignant.

Law enforcement cannot cease to stop a swerving car because Jesse Jackson may be in it, or fail to make initial inquiries because Black people are involved. Nor, should law enforcement have to be disrespected, interrogated, or challenged because they have to do their job. Those cops did not know who Henry Louis Gates was when they received the call to his property, and even if they did, so what. Yaleducativism, Harvardism, and African-American intelligencia does not absolve anyone-including Mr. Gates-from knowing that law enforcement must be respected, even if they want to be tough guys/gals. The cops were within reason to confirm Gates’ identity and then ensure that there was nothing “fishy” going on, despite the fact they were dealing with the “Henry Louis Gates”.

If the depth and breadth of Mr. Gates’ interaction with the Cambridge police consisted of him providing identification and fully cooperating with the officers, then the officers do need to offer an apology. If not, Mr. Gates and his supporters need to sit down somewhere and eat some chocolate.

Meanwhile, Mulloverthis chooses to commend the people who help to keep our neighborhoods safe and when everyday “good” people do bad things, sometimes have to put their lives in danger to muddle through the particulars. Thumbs up to law enforcement.

KUDOS Miss California USA

by MullOverThis

The question is not whether Christianphobia is on the rise or not. The question is do people who despise Christians, because we hold fast to the Bible and our faith, have the ability to be equitable and just.

Imagine the melee gay activists, same sex marriage advocates and the so-called “open-minded” (and I use this characterization lightly) people would have if Mrs. California was pro-gay, and a staunch Christian judge began an uproar because of her support for the advancement of gay rights.  Imagine.  It’s not hard to imagine, because Christians can no longer go to our own churches without being challenged by people who want Christians to deface our teachings and comply with modern “thinking” and ways of living.  When gay people are filthy and downright egregious in their tactics to advance their causes, they are activists.  When Christians do the same thing, we are barbaric bigots.

Perez Hilton probably thought he was going to set Miss California up.  Perez admitted Miss California’s answer cost her the “win” in the Miss USA pageant.  To those who believe her position is outdated and inundated with bias, Perez’s “on the spot” question was fair game.  Again, had Perez been James Dobson questioning a hard core lesbian whose avid response supported same sex marriage, and the lesbian suffered the crown because of her viewpoint, no one in America would be able to take a nap.

When folks believe that terrorizing church members by locking them into a sanctuary is not that big of a deal-but the same action against a bunch of preschoolers by a bunch of young black or latino males would have a community in an uproar-that’s when we know the answers to the pertinent questions.  What is equitable and justifiable is what people want while the means-end application of principle is out of the window.

Kudos to Miss California for her forthright boldness and honesty while enduring another episode of heterophobia for believing in traditional family values.  Just as homosexuals have a right to their opinion, so does Miss California and every other Christian who opposes same sex marriage.

Petition to Whitey: Need Another Spokesperson other than Buchanan

by MullOverThis

A Direct Response to Pat Buchanan’s Whitey Need Not Apply:

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=27827#continueA

Pat Buchanan, a nominal  “Whitey”,  can be short-sighted to the point of apathy. Although I believe Obama’s success in the Presidential campaign is largely the result of brilliant consulting and marketing, to suggest that Black people support Obama simply because he is Black, and this causal reasoning/relationship is WRONG, clearly demonstrates the sick thinking that lies within “Whitey”.

Pat and his inane cohorts utter hypocrisy as model representatives of a people and individuals who will not trust a Black man (who is no less qualified than his contemporaries) simply because he IS BLACK.  Many of this population just cannot trust Obama because they don’t know Obama and his name (Hussein) and life comes from an ethnic/racial background to which Whitey is unfamiliar.  It’s amazing how Whitey can trust one another (even when they are unfamiliar with one another) simply because their choice politician supposedly stands for what they believe. Whitey trusts one another because of similarities and commonialities and EXPECT Blacks to trust them.  But when it comes to Blacks and our allegiances to another Black politician, Whitey becomes brain dead and needs some grandiose justification as to why Blacks choose to trust each other; Hence, Whitey struggles to understand the popularity among Blacks for Senator Obama.  White people have a stalwart indisputable record of voting for, and supporting one another.   To isolate all of the contributory reasons why would be impossible.  One cannot re-write the reality of the past, where the very racial prejudice which Whitey is complaining about today, was the impetus for much of who they supported and put in office to push their racist self-entitlement agendas.  Concerning matters of equity, Whitey should centrifuge all prior US Presidential elections and verify the real reasons why Whitey has put all of the prior US Presidents in office, and did not radically elect one Black man or one woman aforetime.

Must Blacks placate the present groanings that come from a people, who have historically and presently continue to give jobs, hook-ups, and educational opportunities to their white friends, relatives, or persons who they can “relate to”, who are often UNQUALIFIED (not merely not-as-qualified fledglings when compared to competent educated Black folks) in their life-long affirmative action programs called “nepotism” or “legacies”? To gripe about affirmative action policies and its inequity and prejudice against white people and males is an insult.   Lord, have mercy.  And to think, Whitey can actually look at his own face in the mirror, primp and continue to be Whitey and indulge in the height of Caucasoidness.  Whitey thinks that Joe is better suited for the promotion b/c he plays golf and attempts to connect with the team over drinks after work where Cinque (what kind of a name is that) feels his time is better spent with his two sons or at a family re-union.  If only Cinque were more of a team player.  If only Tom Joyner, Steve Harvey and BET would distinguish themselves as non-partial, non-biased media entities that did not blatantly support the Black candidate.  How will they know?  Let the mainstream media outlets whose reach is exponentially greater than a popular African-American morning show program, with FOX NEWS unquestionably at the pinnacle of biased coverage against Obama, lead the way.  I hope Buchanan has started his own letter to address prejudice in media coverage and race in this campaign inspiring Whitey to clean his/her act up.

We know that Whitey prepares and catapults their very own children, and are purposed in and of themselves, to progress based upon the same core values and foundation of what their progenitors taught and HAVE PASSED ONTO them. Legacies are virtuous when embellished with Caucausoidness.  These same Whitey should comprehend that Blacks have the same aspirations for a better life and employ progressive actions to be all who we are to be; only with the knowledge and realism that much of what our family lines have worked with historically, as a foundation for what we presently possess and how we think and relate to Whitey, is STILL transitional because Whitey has been–and still is all too often–a thief, robber and a liar. The same thief who ran free Black people off of their own property with death threats is the same thief who thinks that a young Black Man’s creative expression lacks character and reason, because the standard by which he judges is one he has inherited down the Whitey line, particularly when such a subjective valuation is criteria for placement. Oh, the hypocrisy of Whitey to be frustrated as he must now endure watching boys who cannot define a dissonant chord or what it is to embellish a melody, but are musical geniuses that master the very art they do not technically “understand”.  Whitey is suffering because he is accused of being Whitey, and sarcastically denotes himself as such, because he feels he has overcome his Whiteyness because he has a few Black or Hispanic friends.  Let this same  Whitey be tested and have to decide who to believe: the Central Park Jogger, or those ghetto rough-necks.  Thank God for advances in DNA testing which is freeing men from behind prison bars and the interdependence of the Whitey mentality that put them there in the first place.

Human power coupled with biased subjectiveness is not bound within racial/ethnic/class classifications.   But, unfavorable bias based on race has all too often been the disgusting stalwart principle of how White people view Black folks. If Whitey is on an affirmative action mission, let Whitey begin with their unofficial preferences and decision-making based on race, class, skirt length, and the applicant’s willingness to be more like Whitey.

Obama is not the first African American man who has ever dreamed, attempted to become, or could  ever be president. Too many Whiteys were in power with backwoods thinking for a Black man to lead America in past times.   White people, in general, are getting up to speed with the here and now and Whitey doesn’t like this type of progress.  Black people and White people alike, are ready to take a chance on a man whose life experience, and very composition is wider and more tolerable than the Pat Buchanans of this world.  Black people are supporting Obama because he is Black.  But too responsibly complete this idea would mean that the traditional inflammatory ways of Whitey would not bear its intended fruit.  So, I’ll finish the declaration.  Black people are supporting Obama because he is Black and SAYS he is for a people–not just Black people–who want to be treated, valued, and judged for who they are.   Black people want to trust Obama because he is a man who knows what it is to be Black in America.  Black people are just like White people in this regard, Whitey: they trust the one who they think may be just like them.  Black people support Obama because they are willing to alienate the traditional politicians whose built-in prejudices are so engrained within that their reasoning is flawed against the appeal of  the hopeful candidate who may be just that–only a hopeful.

Moderators Note:  For those who do not follow this blog, it is imperative that you understand that I do not believe all White people are racist, prejudiced, or biased based upon race.  I also do not believe that racial animus can only be directed by White people against Black people, or is exclusive to White people.  However, I do believe that there are still too many people who have the opportunity to influence the thoughts (which if given enough life, will breed action) of others are racist and contribute to the social ills and disease in race relations.  I am not of the school of thought where it is best to sweep things under the rug, at least the elephant is no longer in the room.   The use of the word “Whitey” seems to be part of Pat Buchanan’s vernacular as he continues to eloquently misguide others into believing that White people are treated unfairly with certain policies and political trends that benefit Blacks.
